Beth Galton slices food in half and photographs what's inside. A tomato split open shows seeds and chambers. A steak exposes muscle and fat. The work asks a simple question that turns out to be complicated, how do you see what you eat, and does seeing it change what it means to you. The cross-section is not new, she admits, but applying it to the ordinary things on a plate forces a reckoning. Runs all day at the Turchin Center on the App State campus.
